Aon is a world leader in risk management, insurance broking, reinsurance, employee benefits and HR consulting services. In Gaelic our name means 'oneness'. In practice, our name describes our integrated, client-focused approach to solving complex problems. Through the depth of a worldwide organisation with experts across hundreds of disciplines, we help uncover and mitigate the many liabilities and human capital challenges our clients face today.

During 1998, Alexander Howden, Bain Hogg International and Nicholson Jenner Leslie were bought and merged producing Aon Group Limited.

We undertook the task of Space Planning all of their sites from1992 (Alexander Howden) - 1999 (Aon), when the Facilities Department expanded and took the task in-house.

They had an extremely high rate of churn and were constantly moving departments both within and between buildings.

We were able to supply the Premises Department with detailed plans showing names, extension and computer configuration numbers and electrical floor trap details. Enabling them to move approximately 150 people over a weekend.

To facilitate the merger of these companies, Cad I T Design Associates had to produce plans for all of the existing buildings within the companies and their assorted furniture.

These were then used to co-ordinate the restructure of the companies into Aon Group Limited.

Using 3D renderings, we were able to show the client the proposed layout in a more understandable form.

From September 1997 through to April 1998 Cad I T Design Associates produced plans to allow 3,500 people to be relocated, at least once, into both existing and new buildings in London and Romford forming the Aon Group.
